Introduction to AiDC100 is in Honor of the bar code pioneers

I was fortunate enough from the early 1970's to work with digital age pioneers and bar code technologists such as Dr. David Alais from Intermec, Harry Burke from NCR, Craig Harmon from QED, David Collins from Computer Identics, Richard Meyers from Delta Services and scientists at 3M.

WORK: I started working at Dytec (now PEAK Technologies) in 1974 selling computer peripherals and pioneering the sales of bar code technology. I worked there 25 years. Dytec was sold and I was given a lump sum of $100K and 70% of my salary for 5 years if I would leave the industry.

I started EduTEC specializing in Bar Code Seminars with encouragement from Dave Alais, Jack Householder, Richard Meyers, John Hill and more Masters that are no longer with us. The Bar Code Seminar industry dried up in the 1990s.

My wife and I have been taking care of Veterans in our home for the last 10 years in our Medical Foster Home. Ten WWII Vets have lived and died in our care. Photos of my Vets. We currently have a Korean and Vietnam vet that we care for. I also work as an Engineering Tech II at Presbyterian Homes. All money from sale of print will go to veteran activities.
